House of Dreams is more than a place to live — it’s a journey toward healing and independence. Residents have access to transformative programs such as Passport, one-on-one and group therapy, return-to-school support, and job readiness support, including help with resumes and completing applications.

Passport Program

House of Dreams Passport Program 


House of Dreams Passport Program designed to assist residents in acquiring their passports within 3–6 months. This program aligns with the supportive, empowerment-driven mission of House of Dreams, and can be used for re-entry, educational, spiritual, or travel-related goals.


House of Dreams: Passport to Purpose Program

Empowering Residents to See the World – One Step at a Time


Program Overview

The Passport to Purpose Program is designed to assist House of Dreams residents in obtaining a U.S. passport within 3 to 6 months. Whether for educational travel, mission work, employment, identification, or a personal goal, this program offers step-by-step support to help residents reclaim their right to move freely in the world.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a current House of Dreams resident (30+ days).
  • Must have completed initial intake and assessment.
  • Must participate in at least one weekly life skills, workforce development, or therapeutic session.
  • Must show a valid need or desire for obtaining a passport (travel plans, spiritual journey, legal ID, etc.).

Therapy Program

House of Dreams Therapy Program 


The House of Dreams Therapy Program offers supportive, trauma-informed, and faith-integrated mental health services to residents navigating the emotional impacts of life transitions, grief, reentry, and more. Our goal is to help residents heal, grow, and reclaim their lives with dignity and purpose.


Who This Program is For


Residents who are:

  • Coping with trauma or abuse (past or recent)
  • Grieving the loss of a loved one or life as they once knew it
  • Re-entering society after incarceration or homelessness
  • Adjusting to new housing, independence, or recovery
  • Managing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc.
  • Seeking a safe space to process, reflect, and grow


Return to School Program

House of Dreams RTS Program 


The Return to School Program is designed to support House of Dreams residents who are ready to re-engage with education whether that means finishing a GED, learning a trade, earning a certificate, or enrolling in college. We believe that it’s never too late to start again, and this program is built to eliminate barriers and build confidence for lifelong learning.


Who This Program is For

Residents who:

  • Did not complete high school and want to earn a GED
  • Are interested in trades like HVAC, cosmetology, culinary arts, or carpentry
  • Want to enroll in a certificate program (i.e. IT, health care, office admin, etc.)
  • Want to pursue a college degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)
  • Are exploring online, in-person, or hybrid programs

Job Readiness Program

House of Dreams Job Readiness


Program Overview:

The Job Readiness Program at House of Dreams is designed to support residents in building essential job skills, gaining confidence, and preparing for sustainable employment. This program offers individualized support, and spiritual encouragement to help each resident pursue meaningful work opportunities.

 Who Is This Program For?

This program is created specifically for residents of House of Dreams who are:

• Seeking employment for the first time or re-entering the workforce

• In recovery from trauma, homelessness, or addiction

• Returning citizens building a new chapter post-incarceration

• Young adults transitioning out of foster care or unstable environments

• Individuals working toward stability, independence, and purpose

• Anyone needing help with resumes, applications, and career confidence
